Rick Hodges has more than 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation and served for approximately 10 years as president and CEO of Summit, managing general agent of RetailFirst and BusinessFirst insurance companies. He was the first chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council for the Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation. A major force in the workers’ compensation world, Hodges is a past member of the Judicial Nominating Committee for the appointment of workers’ compensation judges and served as chairman of the Association of Workers’ Compensation Claims Professionals. He currently serves as a member of the Florida Workers’ Compensation Joint Underwriting Association, and is considered an industry expert throughout the Southeast.
